Adam Smith College 

Adam Smith College is the third largest in Scotland with approximately 35,000 students and 900 staff. The College, located in Fife, has a strong presence in the community with five main campuses, in Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes and Leven, as well as local learning centres.

 

They offer a wide range of courses in a variety of subject areas including; engineering and science, computing, hair and beauty, business and management, construction, sports and tourism, education and care studies and creative industries.

Carnegie College

Carnegie College stands at the forefront of Further Education in Scotland and is highly regarded as a major educational player. Together with other business units they consistently demonstrate lead-edge practice in social inclusion, workforce development, e-learning, services to businesses and the local community.

 

Carnegie College supports lifelong learning for all, promoting social inclusion and a highly skilled workforce for a competitive Scotland from our main campus in Halbeath, their Construction Centre in Cowdenbeath and their community learning centres in the West Fife towns and villages. They also offer educational services to prisoners whilst they serve their sentences in five of Her Majesty’s Prisons.

Elmwood College

Elmwood College  is a further education college based in the heart of North East Fife. The College’s portfolio of courses includes a range of landbased niche market golf-related specialisms and a range of more traditional courses, which meet the needs of the local community.

 

In recent years Elmwood College has diversified and introduced new curriculum areas including hair and beauty, healthcare, multimedia, art and design, interior decoration, visual merchandising, golf and greenkeeping, golf management, gamekeeping, sports coaching, hospitality and conservation.

 

Many of their courses are taught from National Certificate level to Higher National Certificate and Higher National Diploma levels or equivalent.
