What Do We Do

The aim of the Opportunities Fife Partnership is to work together to tackle worklessness through effective employability measures and also help tackle related issues of poverty, income inequality and health.

Through working collaboratively and engaging with employers we will deliver a cohesive employability service for Fife that helps more people into jobs and develops the skill base for a thriving local economy.

Our objectives are to:

  1. reduce the numbers of worklessness and those dependent on 'benefits'
  2. reduce poverty and in particular child poverty
  3. help specific target groups to overcome barriers and progress n some way towards jobs, skills and learning opportunities
  4. enhance individual skill levels to meet future employment needs
  5. work with employers to maximise the opportunities available to key client groups
  6. promote a culture of enterprise including social enterprise
