Fife Aluminium & Metal Company (FAMC) has worked with the Fife Job Contract since 2024 and has provided 3 sustainable positions across the business. Lee Jobson joined FAMC to learn skills and develop knowledge within the fabrication and specialist environments of this diverse
workplace. Over the past year Lee has progressed to working independently, working with the folding machine and CNC machining. He is now a valued member of the team.

The business has continued to grow, and an opportunity presented itself to support another client into a
sustainable position. This saw Graham Chalmers join the team and focus on the fabrication of specialist components and orders. Graham brought skills with him, but this was a new environment with new challenges. With five months under his belt, Graham has increased his knowledge and skills. Enjoying the work and being part of the FAMC team. Dale Robertson the owner of FAMC and is very keen to support and develop the team.

This includes the introduction of training on new equipment and potential to obtain a forklift licence. As things became busier, it was clear that the was a need for an Admin Officer. This is where Riley Roberston was offered an opportunity into sustainable employment. Riley is hoping to start her MA in Business Administration soon to increase her knowledge, abilities and responsibilities within the company.
