In The Foot Steps of Kings

Release Date: 09/03/2022 13:16

From the start of the project our Foundation Apprenticeship students fully engaged with our partners at Economic Development, attending meetings, carrying out research tasks and working to meet deadlines.  Their enthusiasm and creativity were evident in the products that they designed and it was great for the groups to see their products come to life. It was an excellent opportunity for our young people to develop their skills within the business industry as well as gain valuable work experience that they will be able to use in their chosen progression pathway.” Denise Yates, Fife College

  • Fife pupils were given the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of kings.
  • In the Footsteps of Kings is an augmented reality app, developed by Fife Council’s Tourism team with app developer Mardles.
  • Mardles, Fife Council and Fife College worked together to create an exciting opportunity for Foundation Apprenticeship pupils to continue with their learning during lockdown. Pupils worked hard to create new merchandise to promote the popular free app ‘In the Footsteps of Kings’.
