Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region Deal Co-production Intensive Family Support Service (Fife)

Open invitation to co-production workshop for interested stakeholders

2pm to 4pm, Monday 29th April 2019

Caledonia House, Saltire Centre, Pentland Park, Glenrothes, KY6 2AQ

The Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region Deal (ESESCRD) in partnership with the Scottish Government’s European Structural Fund is developing a specification to tender for a new Intensive Family Support Service (IFSS).

This service will target significant pockets of persistent, entrenched worklessness and poverty in the six regions in the City Region Deal, targeting up to 100 families in areas of high need and disadvantage who require a more intensive whole family support service over a longer period to enable them to benefit from economic prosperity and inclusive growth.

We therefore wish to work with stakeholders and third sector partners to inform the programme specification and explore further what a successful service might look like, capture good practice, and identify what critical elements are vital to success.

Capital City Partnership will be procuring and managing this service on behalf of the ESESCRD.  The initial project will offer additional targeted support for vulnerable families living in the most deprived areas in Fife from July 2019. It’s anticipated that the IFSS will commence in other regions in January 2020. This service will run for five to seven years.

A Public Information Notice (PIN Reference no. APR351851) has been issued on Public Contract Scotland for this tender opportunity, and you should register with this to receive on-going information and updates.
